The Student Hotel Delft welcomes first guests

Despite the corona measures and many travel restrictions, The Student Hotel (TSH) welcomed 238 students during its first check-in day. Over ninety percent of this group came from abroad.

In line with RIVM's advice, TSH requests guests traveling from orange or red areas to go into quarantine for ten days. "Our employees help where necessary, for example with grocery shopping," says communication manager Anne-Mieke Minderhoud.

TSH also applies additional rules to ensure the health of guests. "There are restrictions on the use of the elevators and kitchens, cleaning is done more often and there are more online activities. In order to strengthen the corona measures, the students were greeted appropriately during check-in: with a bottle of disinfectant hand gel and a specially designed fabric mouth cap.

  •  TSH Delft has been open since September 1st for students staying at least six months. From the beginning of October other guests are also welcome in the hotel, workspace Collab and restaurant The Commons.
