- In the Valorisatieagenda 2020, TU Delft writes: ‘TU Delft views valorisation as the process of creating value from knowledge by making knowledge suitable and/or available for economic and societal usage and making it suitable for translation into competetive products, services, processes and new activities. Valorisation is mostly about the handing over and application of applied scientific knowledge for the purpose of contributing to sustainable, innovative solutions for societal issues. At the same time, TU Delft generates additional income by putting a monetary value on marketing inventions, carrying out research contracted by industry, successfully submitting research to the Netherlands and the EU etc.
