There’s an App for that

The biggest bonus for its users? No more waiting in line. You no longer have to sit on a busy terrace trying to catch the server’s attention. Order your food and drinks with your phone and pay using your mobile wallet. More locations are being added all the time, including, for the summer, beach tent cafes in Scheveningen, Kijkduin and Noordwijk. Froukje Krottje, a waitress at the Grand Café de Sjees in Delft, says “We were one of the first places in Delft to offer use of the app. Whilst it may be less gezellig than usual waiter service, on a busy terrace with large groups it can be really handy.” The app is free to download and available for iOS and Android.
