That’s why the foundation has filed a complaint against the university at the Dutch National ‘Ombudsman’, an informal civil court that handles complaints against governmental departments. The foundation states that there is a law against the unnecessary use of English: a Dutch university can only use English when there’s a good reason for it. The foundation charges that Delft University only uses English because it is a trendy thing to do. ,,Everyone says that English is important. Accordingly, everyone starts switching to English.
