The Human Power Team finishes strong in Germany

TU Delft’s Human Power Team headed to the DEKRA test facility in Germany last week to test out the VeloX 6, their latest vehicle.

In July of 2015, the team attempted to break the low altitude land speed record for human powered vehicles at the facility. This time around, they focused solely on preparing for the World Human Powered Speed Challenge in Nevada this September.

After encountering technical problems and high winds on Saturday, the team managed to overcome a minor crash involving driver Rick Flens. They finished the weekend strong with an impressive 94.2 km/h run. Now it’s onwards to America for the team.
