"A series of classes about circular design inspired me to start this project. Along with a friend, we discovered that TU Delft supports student start-ups so we applied for a voucher and got it. We started Circular Clockworks because we want to change the image that people have about recycled materials.

The watch, for instance, is made from recycled plastic and leather that has been ground up from consumer products. To create a durable watch, it is powered by a Swiss watch movement. Making something circular involves not only re-using materials but also maintaining the value of the materials and components. Currently we are in a testing phase using 3D printed models and are planning on starting production soon."
