Foreign eye

Rainy evenings in Delft. Given the perennial nature of rain in Delft, it’s only natural to get bogged down by the extra wind chill, the slushy roads or the wet splatter on your face. But a walk along in the historic town of Delft always gives one a different perspective. Ripples in the canal water, that magical light in the atmosphere and the contrast brought by the wet bricks against the fresh green - Delft never look betters. But if you’re still not a big fan of getting soaking wet, you can always sit back in your room and peer out the window, enjoying a warm cappuccino as you watch the beautiful reflections on the roads and the old town disappearing into the mist.
